I finally back to update this blog! It's been quite sometime (again!) and I miss this blog :p
Oh well, now I want to talk about smartphone applications, for Blackberry, since I only use Blackberry 8520 for now. Most Indonesians are usually using this smartphone, of course there are some people using iPhone and others, but they mainly use Blackberry.
I have some applications that I really like, especially because I really love fashion, and I'd love to share these info to you guys. Here they are: (Not in a particular order!)

1. VOGUE Stylist (by Conde Nast India Pvt Ltd)

I have Vogue Stylist India installed in my Blackberry, it's user friendly and easy to access. It gives you the insight of the latest fashion trends, celebrity styles, runway styles, and even to find you the looks that suits you! You can customized the search based on your body looks, color and the occasions. Not just only that, you can ask the Vogue India Team for some fashion advice.

5. ELLE Québec (by Transcontinental Inc.)

Once again, this app only available in French. If you are interested in this app, please check ELLE Canada application, it's in English (and it is very unfortunate that my country isn't supporting the ELLE Canada app for now) Get to know more on celebrity gossips, fashion news and horoscope.

Holiday Review

I can't believe I haven't post anything since last July. I guess I was too busy with my self during Ramadhan month, spending my time doing nothing. I was spending my time doing a research for my novel, read a lot of references, browse the internet and so far I already ask my uncle (He is an expert in medical field) for more information.

I even forgot my own birthday in last August if my friend didn't call me in the middle of the night. Unfortunately, I don't have any photos taken on my birthday, I wouldn't show anything related to my birthday in this post. The only photos I have is when my old friends and I going to a cafe to break fast this ramadhan, and we went to karaoke afterwards.

Finally I can taste my freedom after the final exam was over.
Last Thursday, I went to a theatre performance with my good old friend, Adit. He wrote the script for one of the performance, Better Stories, at LSPR 7th Theatre Festival. The director of the performance is also my high school friend, Moris, along with my best friend, Ghoniya, who has a role, and Vani, as the crew. So, I didn't give a damn about the re-sit exam that will be held next Monday and I went straight to the performance hall.

Adit had been waiting for me that night, with two tickets to the performance (and they are also the perfect seats in the middle of the hall!) He is one of the most talented people at SSD 78 -- theater club in my high school. This is not the first time he wrote a script, but he still very nervous anyway, especially when the curtain drawn up.

To be honest, this performance is my favorite during the 7th theatre festival so far. Well, it's actually my own opinion but perhaps I like it because I feel similar to one of the character of the story. -- Nah, now Adit has to explain something to me hahaha :D

So the story opens with a girl that attempt to kill herself. While her soul struggling to keep alive, she finds herself has been stranded in the afterlife. There she meets four other woman who had already died before her, and every single of them have their own life story. The story line amused me, and succeed to trick me as well, I had no idea how the story would end. That's a great job everyone!

Of course, I made my own way to the backstage --Adit tried to not arguing about that, he knows exactly how stubborn I am, but thankfully we were able to meet all the crew. They were all excited, congrats guys! :)

A long time ago, there lived an outlaw named Robin Hood and his friends, The Merry Man, in Sherwood Forest. Nottingham ruled by Sheriff of Nottingham, and he has a beautiful niece named Marian, whose father had already past away. At that time, England was ruled by King Richard I, and he had a jealous brother, Prince John who really wants his brother's throne.

Nurse Kate tells Robin about what the Sheriff had done to Marian.

The story starts when Sheriff of Nottingham raised the taxes, and if the people cannot pay, he would destroy their houses. Friar Tuck asked Robin Hood and his friend to go to Nottingham to help them.When he arrived in Nottingham, they were ambush by the soldiers. During battle, Robin accidentally killed one of the soldiers and then he runaway to Sherwood Forest.

Meanwhile in the Nottingham Castle, a royal messenger came and told the Sheriff that the King and his household will stop by. Sheriff of Nottingham planned to hang Robin Hood while the King stays in Nottingham and gives Marian as Prince John’s mistress, so he could get rewarded. Not knowing her uncle’s plans, Marian came to Sherwood Forest and asked Robin Hood for help. Prince John assured the Sheriff to fulfill his promises, or he would kill the sheriff. Robin Hood realized that the market was being destroyed by the Sheriff while he, Marian, and the Merry Men were in Sherwood Forest.

that the Sheriff destroy Nottingham Town.

They were confronting the soldiers in Nottingham, but Marian get captured and taken away to the castle.

Robin Hood, the Merry Men and people of Nottingham planned to attack the castle. In the castle, Sheriff of Nottingham insisted Marian to be the Prince’s mistress, but Marian refused.

Little John encourage people of Nottingham to attack the castle.

The guard informed the sheriff that the castle was being attack, and then they sent all soldiers to defeat Robin Hood. Sheriff of Nottingham had a duel with Robin Hood, and he lost. Robin tried not to kill the Sheriff but when the Prince saw that his man has been captured, Prince John stabbed the Sheriff. Robin Hood was being accused of murdering the Sheriff by the head of guards. The Merry Man ask him to run, but he refused.

Marian asks Robin for explanation on her uncle's death.

He tried to convince Marian that he didn't kill her uncle, and asked her to come away with him. Robin and Marian runaway together with the Merry Men to Sherwood Forest. The following day, the new Sheriff was chosen by the King, announced by Prince John. While in the deep Sherwood Forest, Robin and his friends lived happily afterwards.

It's been a while since my last post in this blog. I'm so sorry my dear readers (well, if I really have one) :p
Robin Hood theater performance two weeks ago really grabbed my attention, and thankfully now I can get over it! I would like to post photos or the performance's trailer montage, but maybe later, because I have a lot more fun things to do.
Right now is a holiday, before we're going to have the next semester. This holiday I have my own personal goals, I will finished my third novel! Feels like my spirit burst in flames yeeah!!
I write two chapter in one day, so I really hoping I could finish this in time, before all college stuffs coming again and ruin my whole perfect day. But I like it anyway, you wouldn't have an awesome idea for your writings if you don't have any precious experience in your life.
My third novel will be quite complicated, in my opinion actually. Because this is my first a hundred percent young adult novel. (My second one still fifty-fifty, between teenager and young adult) I'm quite certain about this, because I will tell about a life of a man that losing his way. He had chosen a wrong path in his life, and it will keeps haunting him for the rest of his life. Well, I think that's it. You should wait until I finish it :)
Don't forget to buy my second novel, it will be published sometime this year. (I don't know why, but I keep promoting this to everyone)

Finally I have two week year-end holiday! After all this time of homeworks, quizzes and exam, I finally have a time to enjoy my time :)
My first holiday schedule started on Dec 17th, directly after National Heroism mid-term exam, I've already packed my suitcase, we went to Anyer right after class! Yeeeey ^^
My family and I stayed in Marbella Hotel for two nights, I actually want it longer, but at least we have time to swim and enjoy the shore.

I cannot help my self not falling in love in emerald dresses!
Thanks for Jacqueline Durran, her emerald dress in Atonement had bewitched me. Since that, I always interested --or perhaps obsessed!-- everytime I saw a green dress. I don't know why, they just got my attention! I have only one word to explain that: lovely. Emerald dress can be wear anytime, you will look lively in daylight, and incredibly stunning at night.

I think I've been circling around all department stores in Jakarta to find a right dress for prom a few months ago. And I choosed to wear green at prom! I've never think about that before, even during my highschool year, I thought I would come to prom with red dress (as usual) but then I rather to break the habit by wearing green dress to prom.

Les Misérables

I watched the musical Les Misérables presented by Teatro London School yesterday, along with my friends Marsella and Mei.

Based on one of the greatest novels in 19th century

I never see the musical before, all I know that Les Misérables is a novel by Victor Hugo because I love his other novel as well, Notre Dame de Paris, I even watched its musical for several times. (I really love Garou when he playing the role Quasimodo <3 ) So, when my lecturer asked us to see Les Misérables, I was quite curious especially when I realized how bloody thick is that novel, I rather watch it than read that :)
The musical is about a lifestory of an ex-prisoner, Jean Valjean when he released from prison after spending nineteen years for stealing a loaf of bread. Then he changed his identity, and become a mayor in a small town. Later, he adopts Cosette (that's the girl you see as the emblem of the musical), a daughter of a worker who become a prostitute in order to pay welfare for her daughter. Fantine, Cosette mother, dies of disease and left her daughter in Valjean's care while police inspector Javert, relentlessly pursues Valjean. The story continue until an act of anti-Orléanist of Republican Insurrection in Paris uprising on June 5–6, 1832. when Cosette falls in love with an ABC Club member, Marius Pontmercy.
The story is so sophisticated, I even need to read wikipedia to understand the historical background of this musical. Victor Hugo never dissapoints me, Les Misérables is superb!

Midterm Exam --> Two Weeks of Brain Battle

This Tuesday I was very happy cause I've accepted as the new member of LSPR TV Alhamdulillah :)

Even though my happiness got distracted as soon as I realized that midterm exam just a few days away. My first test was being held this Friday morning, for General English 1. We should write a business letter in British English (I still cannot understand the differences between American English), so that will help us to understand The City & Guilds Examination.
The midterm exam will be held for two weeks. And I still have seven remaining subjects that I should read very carefully; Introduction to Performing Arts Communication, Introduction to Advertising, Introduction to Public Relations, Introduction to Marketing, Indonesian State Philoshophy, Logic and Philoshopy of Science, and the last one, Introduction to Communication Science. Those references and study guides are quite interesting :)
I've spent a few hours today in the campus library. I was intend to find some references, but finally I ended up at the literature section. I found Arswendo Atmowiloto's 50 Panggung Teater London School just beneath a pile of books.

I really love those masks, please let me take one of them please >o<

Suddenly I forgot the true purpose for being in the library, well its often like that :)
I need to prepare my brain for the exams while I still enthuse reading some other books :p

It's been three months since I went into college, and its quite exciting! :)

The London School of Public Relations Jakarta <3 <3 <3

Going into college also means that I have to change my lifestyles, especially habits. I'm very grateful there're only nine subjects this semester (even though its still have 24 credits after all). One chapter in the reference book is very very long, in comparison to the study guide, but we have to read them all. Well, its okay, that why I prefer to go into the major that I loved so much than just seeking for prestige. Because when we come in to this problem, if you really like what you should read then you will love to read that as well. In the other way, If you hate the subjects, by reading them, of course, will make you suffer. Just love what you do, and everything seems so happy as sunshine :)
There's a lots of clubs and student activities in London School, such as teatro, radio, choir, tv, and many more. So I can guarantee nobody will get bored around campus. I registered my self to LSPRtv, and I'm hoping I could give my best :)

I'm quite certain that we all already know about blow kisses.
I always find my friends blowing kisses everyday. Well, that's cute isn't it? Sending kisses over the air, receiving via his heart :)
I know that butterfly kisses would be more cute than blow kisses, but I prefer blow kisses more. It's hard to explain, the way I'm thinking, but I supposed that is the only way to send kisses from a distance. Imagine this, you are sitting in a stadium tribune, then you see the love of your life will going to have a big soccer match. He is standing at the side of the field, just a few feet away from you, and he realizes you are there. What will you gonna do? Sit down and relax? Of course not!

Look at him, make an eye contact, flutter your eyelashes if you need to. Put your hand on your mouth, kiss your hand smoothly, slowly flip your hand out, and blow lightly towards your man. Currently, I'm still reading Conan Doyle's The Return of Sherlock Holmes.

I purchased this book when my birthday party :)

When I read 'The Adventure of The Empty House', I was quite surprised with Holmes's return. I was convinced with the previous incident, that Holmes was dead, along with Professor Moriarty at Reichenbach Falls. There's no way a person can get through an incident like that and still alive, if he fell from the falls.
I say 'If', and the fact is, Holmes never fell from it. *haha BIG spoiler around here
A Study In Scarlet definitely one of the best novel of all time, the conclusion of the case is unbelievable.

It took me almost one minute to think and believe what I've just read

I also loved Agatha Christie's book, especially Hercule Poirot's cases. His gray cells deduction always surprised me in every cases. I still don't get it, how he can have those thinking in his mind. Murder in The Orient Express is my favorite one this far, and 4.50 From Paddington for Miss Marple cases. Actually Curtain also amazed me, but I believe you don't want me to spoil the story here because that is Poirot's last case. All I can say that Curtain really a breaking-heart story for Poirot lovers.

This one never dies! I've read Detective Conan manga since nine years old, and I still love it. I've spent a half of my lifetime to collect the comics when each one was publish. Detective Conan is the first detective story that I read, and since that, I have my interests on detectives and mysteries. When I was little, every conclusion of the case were quite surprising, but when you get older, now you can guess who the killer is. Well, its still quite entertaining after all... but please when Shinichi can get his body back?

He is a true image of person who has obssesive compulsive disorder. I can't stop laughing to see his action during investigation, reminds me of my ***** (no offense! haha)

FINALLY

I'm back blogging my favorite spot on earth. Well at least I'm going to tell you a lot of my activities during holiday, especially in August. I'm a bit short-term memory, you know, It's hard for me to retell things that I've done two month before. But that's alright, I'm going to talk about it anyway :)

Early in the August or in the late of July (I have no idea what date it was)

My childhood friends, they are sisters, asked me to go with them to a circus at Ritz-Carlton Pacific Place. That was Cirque of The World, they performed extraordinary acrobatics and It was amazing. I can't imagine how they do something like that!
It will takes me a whole life if I try to do all those stunts haha :D

This is me and I'm back again blogging my precious blog!
It's been quite a long time since my last post, I supposed. And I'm so glad that I've been accepted in The London School of Public Relations, where I'm going to continue my study. I even haven't seen my SNMPTN result yet!
After those hard days, now I'm back to my own life, and I'm very excited! Gosh, I'm longing for write a novel again, its quite too long since my last novel. Now I'm editing my second novel, and I'm looking forward to see it done. I walk through all places that I wrote in my book, just to verify the authenticity of the scene. It was beautiful, I went to places that I've never been before. I went up to the hill in Bogor (I have no memory when the last time I went up hill), I saw a very far-reaching rice fields and nothing stand in the way until the foothills of Gunung Putri. How far is that?
My senior year in high school had been one of my hardest time of my life. Besides college stuffs, my social life was filled with unexpected circumstances, its not just about my own problem, but its mostly about my friend whom his or her life almost end up in gloom. Not much my other friends and I can do about that, but at least we can ease the pain.
My uncle said, he is my mentor and I called him 'Pakde', "A writer best treasure is their own experience." I was just a middle school student when he told me so, and I can't fully understand what he tried to tell me until now. I know that I'm not feel that experience own my own, but its still breaks anyone hearts. When I read Atonement, by Ian McEwan, Briony Tallis said, "What sense of hope or satisfaction could a reader derive from an ending like that?" So she gave happiness, in her book.
You may say that she lied, but I can say she doesn't. In my opinion, a good novel should give a glimpse of hope to the readers so they can face the world more optimistic and never give up. I believe if there's a will, there's a way, that is why I always try to convince my reader to have the faith. But still, they always have a choice, believe in hope or not to believe, its beyond our hands.

It was 4th May, and that was my unforgettable moment. That day was the first time I felt totally graduated, well I mean, we had just left our school time and we're going to university. I can't believe I've done this far, I will never wear those uniforms again or never being scolded by teacher for skipping lessons and forgetting homework. I know there will be more responsibilities ahead me or chances I'm willing to take, but I'm gonna miss those days in high school.

I still remember the first time I went to Plaza Senayan. I came to Plaza Senayan on the first day it was opened. Unfortunately, It wont be on history book. It was on 1996, I supposed. My mom was pregnant back then, a few days after that day, my brother was born. Well, it's quite a long time.
The store still my favorite till this very day... but the best thing I find in Plaza Senayan is... the magazine!

I don't know what came after me, but I love to go to Plaza Senayan at least once a month just to pick up the PS magazine. No kidding, I damn serious.

I may have been the most 'out-to-date' person in entertainment during my last year in high school. Or maybe... I can say that I've been wandering around with no information. Yeah, whatever.
Yesterday I rent some DVDs, and it was my first time to watch 'Star Trek'. Yeeeah laugh it up.
I've watched all Star Wars episodes for a thousand times since kindergarten, I even have Darth Vader action figure, so I think it will be fun to watch a movie with 'Star' in front of its title.

Thankfully, the movie was satisfaction. For my mom, especially, she told me about Star Trek TV series that she watched a long time ago when she was in the middle school. Classic tales, right mom?
I don't really paid attention to the whole story (beside my mom kept talking), so I won't write about the storyline, because I found something that interests me. And it was Spock.

1. He is tall, cute, with dark hair.
2. Very clever, a bit geek, everything seems too easy to accomplish.
3. Calm, or even cold, never shows his anger that might make his opponent knows his weakness.
4. Logical. I know I can't stand with this type of guy.
5. Mature thoughts, never reckless, full of strategy.
6. Masculine, and athletic. But it doesn't make him a bodybuilder.
7. He talks in a very intelligent way. Is there any perfect word to describe it?

It's been so long since my last post, isn't it?

Well, it seems like I've been crawling all around this place and I don't have any idea or what to do with all kinda stuffs here. Until I think its better if I write something about all stuffs I've done during my last holiday. SIMAK UI just another month, that means a several months remaining before senior class graduation.
Oh, how fast that times went by...

What should you do on the last holiday before final exams? Based on my personal experiences, Here it is:

1. Go to the beach
The smells of salt water can refresh your mind a bit, and the scenery is just... fantastic. You can wait until sunset and everything is just romantic, and dramatic, believe me. I went to Anyer with my classmates on December, we brought a bunch of games, DVDs, and any other entertainment but nothing can made us happier than spending time together.

Spending a lot of time with friends really helpful to have a light conversation during school reunion.

2. Go to the theme park
This one never gets old! You can recall how long years has passed since the last time you go into boom boom car, or how long since your last ride on that horsey carousel. Be a kid for a day! No one will preach at you, excepts your father maybe.

3. Have a side job (on beauty peageant!)
Nah, this one really interesting. I really glad that I can have a part in GADIS Sampul 2009 Grand Finale. You can learn many things that we can't get at school, such as how become a commitee, backstage crew or become an LO (L'employeur officielle). There are many things you can do on side jobs, maybe selling donuts, become a bookstore clerk, or boutique clerk, and so many many other things. Some of my friends become an intern in such big teenage magazines and they love their work, so you'll too!

4. Finish a game
I can't help my self not to 'freak' with this kind of game, but I really love it. I love mafia stories, so I just can't stop at the first time I touch my PS2. Only Tomb Raider games can make my forget mafia games for a while but I already finished all the series this summer and I falling for this game deeper.

First, this is a mafia game. Second, Al Pacino starring in this game.
This game really hard to resist.

5. Go to the movies
Check the latest newspaper, and you'll see a list of movies playing in the cinemas. Choose whatever you like. Don't forget to ask your friend to come along.

I watched a biopic of Coco Chanel earlier today, its Coco Avant Chanel, (or you may say, Coco Before Chanel) the film told us about her lifespan since her childhood and the beginnings of her success as a couturier in Paris.

This film is a love story too. Coco (Audrey Tatou) has two lovers - Etienne Balsan (Benoit Poelvoorde), a wealthy French playboy, and Arthur "Boy" Capel (Alessandro Nivola), a British businessman with aristocratic connections.

Quite entertaining, I think. If you like contemporary history, so should see this film. To those people who loves classic fashion in earlier 20th century, this movie is a must see!

I can't help myself not falling in love with this stuffs.
It was started when my cousin gave me CH 212 original for my 15th birthday present. I'm not very keen on fashion at that time, so I didn't paid any attention to its designer until I saw CH 212 Sexy (the newer one) in Metro Plaza Senayan. Because I have the other one, then I would like to try the perfume. In just a few seconds after I smell it, It seems like I've been bewitched. I saw a big poster when I came to Plaza Senayan last Saturday. That was Michael Jackson's (RIP) movie, This Is It. Its a pity that he can't make the concert tour happen but I'm looking forward to see his last performance.

I like his songs since he sang 'You Are Not Alone', that means since I was in the kindergarten. But true, sometimes I still surprised by his songs. I think there are too many songs I haven't hear yet. So I tried to find out more, and more and more I heard his songs I still in love with them. Good work, Michael. May you rest in peace.

Look at that pink dress and 'so' tiny heart-shaped purse, I should wear that to the disco. But it's not over yet, that blue-yellowish gladiator really stole my whole attention. What are they showing here? I see no significant diffrences in this collection than other clothes in Debenhams. Well, maybe the gladiator, yes.
But still, I like that odd blink shades. I should have that on New Year's day.

SUMPAH ini udah lama banget sejak gue post terakhir ke blog ini.

Maaf ya blog jadi terlupakan gitu...
sekarang juga bingung mau nge-post apaan
jadinya kayak diary gue yang bahkan gue lupa ditaruh dimana. Padahal diary gue tuh udah buku terlucu yang pernah gue punya, hadiah ualng tahun gue yang ke 11 ato 12 gitu, gambarnya happy house (sekarang kan udah gak ada) gambarnya princess yang so imut gimana gitu. Dulu tuh saking parnonya gue, gue sengaja-sengaja cari gembok khusus buat buku. Takut dibaca sama orang ceritanya, tapi alhasil nasibnya terlupakan sampai hampir dua tahun. Gue bahkan udah sampai lupa dimana gue taruh tuh buku sampai tiba-tiba jeng-jeng-jeng buku itu taunya nyelip dibawah DVD! At least masih utuh laah...

Begitu gue baca isinya, ternyata gak lebih cuma pikiran-pikiran sampah gue yang gak jelas. Curhat pun juga gak ada! Isinya tuh paling cuma tempelan-tempelan stiker, latihan tanda tangan, sama kissmark?! (sumpah bukan kissmark gue) trus sama obrolan-obrolan yang sok-sok kayak chatbox antar teman di kelas gue waktu itu. Jadi ngobrolnya ditulis dan dioper-oper klo guru lagi meleng. Itu masih bagus, karena waktu gue SMP dulu, di diary gue yang lebih lama lagi, gue sama temen sebangku gue *nama disamarkan* pernah ngitung berapa kali Pak Guru dikelas ngomong "eeee..." sambil melongo. Habis itu perkembangannya setiap hari dibikin grafik apakah semakin membaik ato malah tambah parah. Sumpah gak jelas habis.
Jadi intinya buku diary gue ya isinya cuma kayak begitu, gue heran kenapa gue susaaah banget nulis buku diary yang bener kayak modelnya princess diary. Karena enakkan ngomong langsung kali yaa? Ha ha ha

Heeeyaaa ini dia kembali lagi bersama gue, dan semua cuap-cuap gue yang nggak jelas. Hari ini sebenarnya gue nggak mood nulis, ngantuk pula.... udah malem tadinya mau ngerjain matematika eh akhirnya berakhir ngotak-ngatik internet. Okeeey... jadi gue punya waktu yang cukup lama buat merenungkan masa depan gue. Yeeeey haha

Tres jolie, non? Koleksi terbaru Chanel tahun ini. Kebetulan gue ngeliat waktu gue nyari resensi film Audrey Tautou yang baru, Coco Avant Chanel, kayaknya sih keren. Apalagi setelah gue liat iklan terbarunya Chanel No.5 yang baru, bintangnya juga Audrey Tautou, keren banget. Mereka ngambil setting ceritanya di Orient Express dari Paris sampai Istambul. Totally extraordinary!

Kalau gue mau ngayal-ngayal sekarang, ngebayangin punya clothing line kayak Coco Chanel hahaha...

Survival & Hut SMPP 35-SMAN 78 ke 34

What The?
Acara perayaan ulang tahun SMPP 35 – SMAN 78 Jakarta (23-24/1) yang ke 34 yang dimeriahkan dengan education fair dan pentas seni oleh siswa SMAN 78, band-band tamu, dan disemarakkan oleh guest star MOCCA.

And The Show Was?
Tema karnaval bergabung dengan edukasi, bener-bener perpaduan yang baru. Crowd penonton juga menggembirakan, walaupun acara ini cuma acara interen SMA 78. Kabarnya nih, opening ceremony-nya juga terobosan baru yang nggak seperti tahun-tahun sebelumnya, dengan tema karnaval yang menonjolkan sisi negeri dongeng. Jadi kita bisa lihat sleeping beauty, snow white, aladin, gypsy sampai Chae Kyeong-nya Princess Hours sliweran sepanjang acara. Dari education fair-nya sendiri juga rame banget, ada 26 PTN dan PTS, 8 lembaga pendidikan, dan juga 9 Universitas Mancanegara. Stage act-nya sebagian besar dimeriahkan oleh penampilan siswa-siswi SMA 78, alumni, dan juga band kolaborasi dengan sekolah-sekolah lain. Sedangkan main act-nya, MOCCA, mampu menyita perhatian seluruh penonton walaupun hari sudah menjelang sore dan hampir letoy karena terlalu heboh dengan band-band sebelumnya, hehe… tapi semangat penonton masih membara, bahkan beberpa penonton bersedia dansa sama Arina MOCCA di panggung, mumpung habis… hahaha

Lesson I Learn?
Exhibition pendidikan tuh memang penting banget untuk kita yang akan memasuki dunia kuliah dan menyambut tujuan hidup sejati lo (cieelah), agar lo bisa menentukan jurusan dan kampus yang sesuai. Tapi biarpun kita beranjak memasuki masa dewasa, bukan berarti kita tidak boleh bermimpi dan still having fun kayak zaman anak-anak dulu… Live your dream!

Pemandangan dari lantai 5 Senayan City, cantik ya? Hasil selama dua minggu hunting for the 'right place'

Dear Readers,

Untuk posting saya kali ini, saya akan menggunakan bahasa Indonesia yang baik dan benar walaupun bulan maret bukan bulan bahasa tapi yaa tak apa lah.

Setelah beberapa lama akhirnya saya kembali membuat posting di blog ini. Semenjak saya mengikuti workshop penulisan TeenLit oleh Sitta Karina Februari kemarin, di Kompas-Gramedia Book Fair -Thx to Kawanku- saya kembali menemukan semangat saya dalam menulis. Tadinya cukup lama saya tidak menulis, selama semester awal kelas XI bahkan selama enam bulan itu tak ada satu novel pun yang selesai saya baca. Tapi ternyata saya merasakan kalau saya serasa bukan diri sendiri lagi kalau meninggalkan hal tersebut.

Saya membongkar lemari saya, dan saya menemukan kumpulan materi penulisan lama dari CCW 2005, lalu saya membacanya bersama dengan materi baru yang saya dapatkan. Kemudian saya menyadari kalau selama ini saya malah justru meninggalkan apa yang sebenarnya sangat saya sayangi. Bisa dibilang saya sudah lupa rasa excited ketika menemukan ide baru dan buru-buru menulisnya di buku catatan atau kertas kosong, bahkan agenda pun sudah tak pernah saya tulis.

Saya menemukan novel (meskipun gak jelas ceritanya) yang pernah saya buat waktu SD. Dulu saya menulisnya tak peduli pagi, siang atau malam. Saya bandingkan dengan diri saya yang sudah tidak menulis lagi, buru-buru saya mencari novel saya yang sebenarnya sudah lama selesai, waktu kelas 3 SMP dan sampai saat ini saya belum menyelesaikan yang lain. Saya membaca ulang novel itu dan akhirnya saya putuskan untuk mere-write keseluruhan novel itu.

Baru saat ini saya mengerti mengapa beberapa orang pernah bilang tulisan itu kekanak-kanakan, karena memang anak SMP yang membuatnya. Saya harap dengan menulis ulang kembali novel itu, bisa memperbaiki alur ceritanya yang kurang logis.

Saya kembali bersahabat dengan buku, pokoknya harus ada sesuatu yang saya baca, entah itu buku pelajaran atau roman. Memang saya harus mengorbankan beberapa hal yang mungkin sangat menarik untuk saya, tapi apabila itu malah membuat saya bukan menjadi diri sendiri saya lagi, mohon maklum kalau saya terpaksa melepaskannya.

Saya kembali ke dunia yang saya senangi, menulis. Saya kembali mengirimkan artikel liputan, dan juga magang di majalah. Saya menulis novel saya lagi, mencari ilmu dari penulis-penulis senior, membaca buku yang selama ini saya tinggalkan, dan yang paling penting mencari inspirasi lagi.

Hal yang paling membuat saya senang adalah ketika majalah kawanku menelepon saya jumat kemarin, untuk mengisi materi CCW 09 dari alumni. Saya sempat kaget, waktu itu Mbak Ruth (redaksi kawanku) meminta saya untuk menjelaskan mengenai mengirimkan naskah ke penerbit, kalau bisa dengan slide shownya. Dengan semangat saya membuatkan presentasinya, (dengan super duper kerajinannya) sekalian dengan hand outnya. Saya sendiri juga tidak tahu kenapa, tapi saya bisa dibilang excited sekali, apalagi bisa bertemu dengan alumni yang lain. Dan tak disangka, saya bertemu dengan Mbak Vera dari GPU, proof editor (tulisannya bener gak?) novel saya Corsage.

Saya senang sekali ternyata tanggapan kawan-kawan di kawanku baik terhadap presentasi saya, walaupun mungkin tidak sesempurna pengisi materi yang lainnya (ada Sitta Karina juga lho!) tapi sebagai alumni benar-benar kehormatan untuk saya. Syukurlah saya memilih jalan ini, karena saya tidak akan menyesalinya.

Cinta memang selalu jadi masalah yang diomongin orang-orang. Kalau misalnya gue baca notes-notes friend gue di facebook, minimum ada satu notes mengenai cinta. Jadi mungkin notes ini sekalian menanggapi notes2 yang lainnya...

Menurut gue, cinta itu bagaikan dua sisi koin berbeda. Sisi yang pertama, yang ada hanya senang, tawa, canda, kebahagiaan, rayuan, gombalan, keceriaan, dan semuanya yang bisa membuat kita merasa bagaikan ada di surga. Dan kalau gue boleh sedikit lebay, 'elo tuh tujuan gue ada di sini.' Sedangkan sisi yang satunya lagi, yang ada cuma tangis, sedih, sakit hari, stres, penyesalan, penantian, yah... intinya despair. Nah, sedangkan passion itu adanya di zona abu-abu. Cuma itu gak akan gue bahas di sini, gue rasa elo semua ngerti maksud gue.

Akhir-akhir ini sering banget gue denger dan juga baca mengenai sakitnya patah hati, atau istilahnya cinta bertepuk sebelah tangan. Cinta yang awalnya indah, tiba-tiba berbalik 180 derajat menjadi penyiksaan buat elo. Yang mungkin tadinya lo dandan setiap hari buat nyenengin dia, sms-an tiap hari, ngecrop fotonya, ngegodain dia dengan rayuan gombal maut lo, tiba-tiba itu semua itu seakan jadi bumerang buat elo kalau masalah itu diungkit-ungkit.

Sakit hati?
Pastinya.

Tindakan kebanyakan orang untuk ngebuang foto, menghapus smsnya, dan bahkan menjauh juga gak bisa di salahkan. Daripada sok kuat dan berlagak nggak terluka, malah lebih baik mengakui kalau kita terluka daripada sosoknya jadi duri yang mendekam dalam daging. Biar saja air mata keluar, membawa pergi rasa sakit yang lo simpan di dalam hati.

Mungkin seandainya perpisahan itu datang dengan cara yang tidak mengenakkan, perselingkuhan, tidak dapat restu, tidak adanya kecocokan atau hanya sepihak, memang membuat kita sakit hati. Tapi yang patut disyukuri adalah, kalian mempunyai alasan untuk melupakan perasaan yang pernah ada. Dengan ingat kejelekannya, kita mempunyai alasan yang rasional untuk meninggalkannya.

Sepanjang gue hidup sampai hari ini -16 tahun- memperhatikan kehidupan cinta orang-orang di sekitar gue, perpisahan yang paling menyakitkan adalah kalau terukir dalam suratan takdir. Perpisahan atau putus cinta itu belum tentu diakhiri dengan saling membenci. Akhir kisah cinta bukan berarti mereka tidak saling cinta, bahkan cinta yang mungkin ditunggu seumur hidup pun belum tentu bisa bersatu.

Kejam?

Gampangnya deh, nonton film Atonement, baca Sitti Nurbaya buat contoh kisah fiksinya. Untuk kisah nyatanya mungkin masing-masing punya bayangan tersendiri, bisa saja janur sudah melengkung tapi tiba-tiba batal kan? Balik-balik lagi semuanya tergantung dari yang di atas, boleh kita berdoa dan berusaha untuk mempertahankan dia, tapi tetap ada yang menentukan.

Ada beberapa hal di dunia ini yang nggak bisa kita ubah.

Jangan lari dari masalah, atau membohongi diri sendiri, tapi dengan menerima apa kehendakNya dan cukup menjadikan cinta itu menjadi kenangan, dapat membuat kita menjadi pribadi yang lebih bijak dan kuat.

Pernah ada yang bilang ke gue, "Apa yang terbaik untuk kamu belum tentu hal yang menurut kamu baik." dan itu benar. Untuk membuktikannya, memang semua cobaan itu harus kita lalui. Gue sih pengen sharing aja ke teman-teman yang lagi melalui masalah kayak gini, kalau masih ada harapan dibalik gelapnya hati yang hancur.

Mewabahnya Writers Block

Nah....

Ini nih yang selalu kejadian klo gue nulis blog...

Bingung!

Nggak tau mau nulis apa....

Kayaknya sih banyak yang mau diomongin, cuma bingung aja. Gue juga sempet bingung selama dua minggu gara-gara writers block menghalangi kreativitas gue dalam apresiasi menulis. Alaaaaaaah....

Bayangin, liburan dua minggu dan sampai seminggu terakhir gue cuma bisa nulis kurang dari satu bab novel! Sekitar 5 halaman... gila!! Itu sih biasanya kerjaan gue sehari doang!

Nggak ngerti.... waktu itu tuh gue buntu banget sumpaaah! Gue nulis apaan aja, ternyata garing banget! Daripada menyentuh hati, klo dibaca malah lebay... bete banget gue!

Trus tiba-tiba kakak kelas gue, yang sekarang udah lulus sih. si kak Reza Rahutomo alias REJONG (bisa liat di link blog tmen2 gue) ngeluh hal yang sama; WRITERS BLOCK.

Inti masalahnya, dia juga tiba2 merasa apa yang ditulisnya di blog jadi garing... gila kan? Wabah writers block mewabah di bulan ini... apa karena cuaca panas atau karena krisis moneter amerika? Entahlah... hanya Yang Maha Kuasa yang tahu.

Ini guna option ask a friend di Who Wants to be A Millionaire.

Akhirnya gue sama si K Rejong saling merefleksi diri... ngapain aja kita sampai kepala buteg begini... dan setelah saling sharing, akhirnya kami menemukan jawabannya.

Aha!

Beban pikiran.

Gue jadi tambah bingung, apa yang gue kerjain sampai gue nggak bisa nulis??

Gue kepikiran tuh... sampai kagak tidur semalaman....

Duit? THR banyak.

Makan? Selalu kenyang.

Teman? Masih lebay kayak biasanya.

Kucing? Masih hiperaktif (tandanya sehat)

PR? Belum ada yang gue kerjain...

Tandanya gue kualat karena nggak ngerjain PR.

Akhirnya gue jabanin tuh ngejain PR drama yang lebay banget. Akhirnya selesai malam itu juga, sampai lima lebar bolak-balik!

Tidur deh gue...

Besoknya...

Kepala gue jernih!!

Anehnya, gue bisa nulis ciayo banget! Untung gue bisa ngetik sepuluh jari, jadi ide gue bisa langsung gue tulis cepet-cepet. Dan alhasil, dengan waktu liburan yang nyisa 4 hari, gue bisa nambahin 30 halaman ke novel gue! Jadi deh dua bab, dan gue nyelesain Part One dari novel gue! lol

Moral dari kisah nyata ini: Kerjainlah PR sebelum ngerjain yang lain.

Untungnya, gue masuk OSIS sama jadi Parlemen Remaja Indonesia, jadi hidup gue ada warnanya. Yaaaaaah.... itu juga gak jauh-jauh dari yang namanya fraksi, dewan, setjen, dan kawan-kawannya yang lain. Mo tau kehidupan berparlemen gue? (gaya amat :p) Tunggu posting selanjutnya...

Sekedar sharing ajaaaa.....

klo kita tuh harus nyari sesuatu yang penting banget, sampai nggak bisa dilupain seumur hidup.

Nggak tau deh....
Akhir-akhir ini gue kangen sama si Djazumaru, peliharaaan gue yang imut, lucu, warnanya coklat, rambutnya kribo.
Udah lamaaaa banget nggak gila2an lagi sama para "lebayers" karena 24 sks yang sialan itu.
Para pembaca.... saya menyajikan masa-masa djazumarumut-mut-mut sedang belajar melawak.

Mohon buka blog bacatulisrenung.blogspot.com, di sana anda semua akan melihat post terbaru yang menceritakan tentang creative writing workshop yang diselenggarakan oleh YKAI - UNICEF yang diikuti oleh peserta dari berbagai penjuru nusantara.

Haaaaaaaaaaaa.............

Kayaknya kebanyakan basa-basi deh, jadi gue langsung aja yaaah. Yang pasti gue salah satu peserta di sana, mewakili Jakarta. Pokoknya kegiatannya seru deh! Penuh materi yang berguna bagi kelangsungan kesusastraan bahasa Indonesia. lol

Nah... balik lagi ke cerita
Salah satu programnya itu kami (para peserta; tha*) jalan-jalan ke pulau seribu. Karena berhubung gue sendiri gak pernah menjejakkan kaki disana, yaaah... hayoo aja! Pokoknya gue, dkk jalan ke sana tuh tanggal 5 Juli, setelah dua hari materi penulisan di NAM center Kemayoran. Dengan membawa pasokan baju yang sangat minim, kami semua berlayar dengan RMS Titanic (berhubung gak tau namanya apa; tha*) menuju pulau pramuka. Tak lupa gue pesan sama nahkoda sebelum berangkat, "Bapak... hati-hati sama gunung es yaa."
Terus dia ngasih muka asem gitu deh.
Di pulau pramuka gue sama temen gue Nicky, berpetualang menerjang badai (lebay) bersama tour guide kami, Anggi. Menelusuri pulau pramuka yang penuh misteri dan tempat-tempat yang belum pernah kami jelajahi. Walaupun kenyataannya kami semua cuma main sama keluarga penyu; papa penyu, mama penyu, sama bayi-bayi penyu alias tukik.

Rayuan Pulau Kelapa....
Akhirnya kami semua berangkat lagi ke pulau kelapa, habis berpetualang kayak ninja hattori di pulau pramuka. Di pulau kepala kami membuka taman bacaan dan meninjau langsung, observasi, keadaan di pulau kelapa. Pokoknya pulau kelapa tuh bikin gue deja vu sama harvest moon, tau deh kenapa. Tapi lucu sih... kayaknya gue tuh bener-bener kuper gak tau kehidupan di luar jakarta.

Karena ombak udah mulai pasang, akhirnya pasukan balik lagi ke kapal digiring sama Mas Mahmud, entahlah dia apa, trus semuanya lanjut ke pulau sepa. Kami semua disambut welcome drink, yaitu nutrisari, dan ada anak kecil bule lucuuu banget ngelihatin kami semua. Jelas dong, gue ikut ngedeketin si bule mini. Temen-temen gue tuh nanyain, "What is your name?" tapi si kecil diam saja tak bicara. Gue lihat ada mami-mami bule ngomong di telepon, "Bonjour," katanya.
Hahahahahaha... di situ masalahnya.
Gue deketin tuh di kecil trus nanya, "Comment tu t-appelles?" si kecil jawab sambil malu-malu, "Pierre..." dan gue cuma bisa nyengir.

Aah... sunset...
Sebutkan 10 kata yang menggambarkan sunset; indah, merah, semburat, matahari, cakrawala, kilau, laut, lembayung, ombak, romantis...
Tapi yang terjadi pada sabtu itu... pasir, kotor, air laut, ombak, karang, keong, jerit, kabur, benjol, dan nyungsep.
Yuph! Entah gimana mulainya, tim kreatif dan para peserta lain diceburin ke laut. Malah Raisa, temen gue, di dorong dari dermaga! Gue sendiri aja pake acara nyungsep di pasir! Gila deeeh.... rame betul! Sampai para panitia juga diceburin rame-rame ke laut! Rusuh deh!
Ada orang rada-rada namanya Dian, dikubur dalam pasir hidup-hidup (Ya pastilaaaah!), plus anggota tubuh tambahan yang tak bisa diceritakan di sini.
Malamnya, kami semua makan malam sambil dangdutan di restoran. Seperti biasanya, gue ngedangdut bow...
Mulai agak malem... gue sama temen-temen kabur-kaburan ikutan dugem, biasalah, ngedisko.
Tapi apes tetaplah apes.
Gue jatuh dari panggung!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Kaki gue jatuhnya miring dan keceklik! Bego banget. Sumpah.
Untung ada cwe aussie namanya Stephanie yang nolongin gue, nih cewek tampangnya lucu banget! Akhirnya kita ngobrol, dan temen2 cowok gue blum ada yang notice ada cewek cakep. Barulah hampir tengah malam, gue balik lagi ke cottage dengan kaki yang sudah diseret-seret. Sesampainya di cottage, duh.... toiletnya bau bangkai! Ada cicak mati di pipa washtafel dan nggak bisa dikeluarin... *Hueeek*
Selama enam jam ke depan, gue nggak bisa tidur.

Keesokan paginya...
Kaki gue bengkak!!!
Memar!
Telapak kakinya biru!!!!!!!!!!
TIIIIIIIDAAAAAAAAAKKKKKK!!! Gue mau main banana boat!
Sakitnya amit-amit daaah! Gue jalan sambil nangis bombay, trus orang-orang tuh cuma ngelihatin trus tampang prihatin mode, ON.
Akhirnya tetep dibela-belain deh, jalan-jalan keliling pulau pake boat sama banana boat, walaupun gue jalan sambil meringis-ringis gitu. Pas banana boat, terjadilah tragedi titanic. banana gue kebalik trus penumpangnya mental semua. Gue, Nicky, sama Aida udah nongol di permukaan samudra atlantik, tapi dua orang lagi... Metha ternyata panik dan dia ngekep Vierna sampai tuh anak kelelep! Gila! Buru-buru kita nolongin, mana si Vierna kalah gede, kasian nasibmu nak...
Dengan segala per'lebay'an kami, semuanya niup priwitan (baca:peluit) minta tolong ala Rose 'titanic' yang mau ditinggal sekoci karena dikira tenggelam. Sesampainya di dermaga, ternyata ada Stephanie! Yoi, kita langsung CS dong... tapi tmen2 gue baru sadar ada cewek cakep dan pada salah tingkah. Terutama oom genit sama ponakannya yang genit, Mas Mahmud sama Dian.

Kisah Steph berlanjut pas makan siang, gue sama Steph asyik ngobrol dan dia gabung juga sama rombongan YKAI-UNICEF.
Nah! Persaingan pun semakin ketat antara Mas Mahmud dan Dian, skor masih 0-0.
Berhubung gue juga merangkap interpreternya Steph, semua rayuan mereka berdua tuh gue terjemahin semua. Apa tanggapan rombongan mengenai kompetisi ini? Sangat positif, dan mereka mendukung kubunya masing-masing.
Tapi, kayaknya nggak ada kemajuan! Steph nganggep Mas Mahmud freak, trus Dian sendiri juga udah keder ngadepin Steph. Apalagi Nyokapnya Steph juga ada! Gue datengin si Dian, gue bilang ke dia klo jangan jadi cowok banci. Punya tekad dong! Tadinya dia cuma nyengir asem, tapi... progressnya bow... pantes aja gue dicariin buat nyomblangin orang. Hahahahahaa ^_^
Pas kami mau pulang, gue lagi pamit sama keluarganya Steph, Dian datang trus dia nyalamin Steph... dan langsung nyosor! Dapet deh cipika-cipiki, ditonton Nyokapnya Steph sama rombongan YKAI-UNICEF. Langsung semuanya heboh, hiruk-pikuk pun bergelora di tengah ramainya deburan ombak *Cieee*
Mas Mahmud nggak mau kalah, trus nyoba cipika-cipiki juga, tapi basi deeeeh... latah!
Dan begitulah kisah cinta segitiga yang berjalan dalam dua hari, antara Dian, Steph, dan Mas Mahmud.

Cuma, kisah ini berakhir tragis seperti kisah romeo and juliet.

Malamnya, rombongan mampir ke restoran Marinara, sarinah. Gue sibuk ngebrowsing pake opera mini gue, mo nge-add Steph di MySpace. Tapi, gue menemukan kenyataan yang membuat heboh semua orang, khususnya dua orang itu. Gue berdiri dari tempat gue duduk, trus ngeliatin profilenya Steph ke Dian sama Mas Mahmud.

Yaaaah... apakah masih ada kata-kata yang dapat menjelaskan situasi seperti ini? Yang jelas, rombongan yang lain ketawa heboh, sedangkan mereka berdua.... yaaah terdiam seribu bahasa sambil nyengir asem.

Dan ternyata sebenarnya di situ tertulis.....

Sumpah deh gue bete!!! Gue nggak tau lagi lagu apa yang enak di denger selain No Air! Sebenernya sih banyak, ada take a bow, beautiful liar, lollypop, en blablablaaah....
Kemarin gue nonton sepintas di Ezy Video, biasa, di etalase ^_^

Manusia terlahir dengan keunikkannya, memiliki kelebihan dan kekurangannya sendiri. Untuk menunjukkan kelebihan kita, lebih baik kita menggali potensi diri yang ada dengan kegiatan positif, seperti mengikuti ekskul, lomba, serta meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kita minati.
Ketertarikan saya terhadap menulis dan jurnalistik disebabkan kesukaan membaca dari kecil. Melewati tulisan, saya mengeluarkan segala inspirasi dan kata hati. Saya pun berharap, dengan tulisan saya bisa meyakinkan orang lain bahwa hidup ini indah.
Saya memberanikan diri saya mengikuti lomba menulis. Melalui persaingan yang sehat, saya dan juga teman-teman yang lain bisa saling memperbaiki diri serta belajar untuk tidak gampang menyerah.
Mungkin ada kalanya kita kalah, tapi sesudah kesulitan pasti ada kemudahan. Dengan mempercayai itu, kita pasti bisa melewati rintangan hidup dan mencintai hidup kita apa adanya.
Dengan prestasi menulis, saya semakin menghargai dan mencintai hidup ini. Tentu saja, kita juga harus bersyukur pada Tuhan atas semua rahmat dan rezeki yang telah dilimpahkanNya kepada kita.
Oui, C’est ma vie. ♥

How Green Are You?

Tidak ada gunanya kita saling menuntut satu sama lain untuk melestarikan alam, kalau bukan kita sendiri yang melakukannya. Bukan berarti kita melakukan demonstrasi besar-besaran, melainkan hargailah bumi dan lingkungan sebagaimana kita menjaga tubuh kita sendiri. Planet bumi perlu dipahami seperti tubuh manusia.
Mulailah dari hal yang kecil dulu, yang bisa kita lakukan sendiri. Dengan membiasakan diri untuk menggunakan benda-benda daur ulang yang ramah lingkungan dan mengoptimalkan kegunaan lahan.
Walaupun taman rumah saya sempit, saya mengusahakan untuk ada tanaman, walaupun hanya sekedar tumbuhan pakis atau pohon mawar. Bagaimana pun juga, untuk melestarikan alam yang luas harus dimulai dari hal yang kecil dahulu. Dengan adanya kesadaran dari setiap orang, maka lambat laun bumi akan kembali hijau.
Hanya itu balas budi yang bisa kita perbuat untuk bumi yang selama ini menjaga dan menghidupi kita.

Pramuka? Masih eksis nggak sih?

Hai semuanya!
Khususnya buat para girl scout sama boy scoutnya SMAN 78, ini hasil ulasan gue sama K' Bagus tentang Pramuka. Ini jelas previewsly unreleased! Baru pertama kali dimuat di dalam blog! Cuma buat lo semua, guys!

“Ngapain sih kerjaannya Pramuka?”
Pernah ada yang anak baru yang lagi di MOS nanya sama seniornya, anggota pramuka di SMAN 78 Jakarta. Kayaknya sih udah sering banget ada orang yang nanya pertanyaan serupa, pikir sendiri deh… apa kita juga pernah nanya hal yang sama?

“Sering banget, apalagi kalau pas ngomongin organisasi. Pasti ada yang nanya, ngapain sih hari gini masih ikutan pramuka? Ngebanyak-banyakin anggaran ekskul aja…” kata Reza, salah seorang siswa kelas tiga.
Pokoknya udah jadi tradisi di sekolah kami, setiap tahun pasti ada sesi pramuka di dalam daftar acara MOS. Anak-anak baru diajari dasar kepramukaan kayak semaphore, dan sandi. Nggak cuma dari sandi ke sandi aja, di sini ada yang disebut pos kebangsaan. Yang jelas udah nggak ngotak-ngatik sandi laah… cuma nyanyi Indonesia Raya aja kok, tapi sampai tiga couplet. Nah lho… lo pada hapal nggak? Santai aja lagi, ngaku aja nggak hapal pasti dikasih contekannya.
Kasian banget deh anak orang disuruh nebak sandi sama nyanyi sampe tiga couplet, sesi terakhir games dong. Apalagi games yang seru selain si buta? Rasanya bahagia banget deh ketawa-ketiwi ngelihatin orang bingung di tengah kerumunan orang.
Gimana? Asyik banget kan?
Coba deh lo pikir, dari satu angkatan baru itu, ada berapa yang jadi anggota pramuka? Paling juga bisa dihitung pake jari.
Bayangin aja, dari tiga angkatan cuma ada sepuluh orang yang jadi anggota pramuka. Daripada disebut ekskul lebih pantes disebut grup kali. Kalo anggota kelas tiga lulus, sisanya gimana? Bisa-bisa regenerasi nggak jalan!
Ibaratnya, satu orang aja anggota baru berharga banget dan satu aja anggota yang keluar tidak ternilai.
Hiperbolis?
Boleh aja kalo lo bilang begitu, tapi ini kenyataan yang ada sekarang, dan ini baru salah satu contohnya. Coba lo buktiin sendiri di sekolah lo, ada berapa sih anggota pramuka? Malah jangan-jangan lo nggak tahu di mana nemuin mereka. (alias nggak ada pramuka di sekolah lo!) Entah karena pramuka itu tergolong cemen, ngebosenin, cupu, basi, old fashioned, atau apa kek yang bisa bikin lo bilang “Ih… cape deh,” tiap kali lo denger kata pramuka.
Sedih banget nggak sih?
Padahal pada saat pertama berdirinya gerakan pramuka di Indonesia, banyak banget partisipan yang ikutan gabung. Bahkan mereka bangga banget kalau jadi salah satu dari mereka, kesannya gimana gitu.
Coba deh tanya Nyokap-Bokap lo, waktu zamannya SMP sampai SMA ikutan ekskul apaan di sekolah. Pasti kebanyakan dari mereka pada ikut jadi anggota pramuka, seenggaknya sampai tingkat penegak.
Rasanya ironis banget kalo ngeliat keadaannya sekarang. Seperti yang selalu Nagabonar bilang, “Apa kata dunia?”

Belajar Survive

Pramuka pertama kali didirikan tahun 1907, sama Bapak Robert Baden Powell di Inggris yang juga nerbitin dua buku, Aids For Scouting dan Scouting For Boys. Di Indonesia sendiri, Pramuka dikenalkan sama tentara Belanda yang menyebutnya padvinder tahun 1912. Kemudian diadaptasi tahun 1916 oleh pemuda-pemuda Indonesia dengan sebutan ‘pandu’. Nah, pas tahun 1960, Presiden Soekarno menyatakan seluruh organisasi kepanduan yang ada di Indonesia melebur menjadi satu dalam wadah Gerakan Pramuka.
Pastinya semua juga udah pada tau apa aja yang mencakup kecakapan pramuka, ada baris-berbaris, morse, semaphore, sandi, pedoman arah, berkemah, tali-temali, PPPK dan one and for all kewarganegaraan. (bukan PKN lho!)
Kemampuan yang diajarin di Pramuka bisa jadi dasar buat survive di alam bebas. Just in case, lo naik gunung dan tersesat dan lo nggak tau baca kompas. Padahal lagi hujan badai di mana lo nggak bisa jalan lebih jauh lagi dan harus berkemah sampai hujan reda. Mau nggak mau lo harus mencintai alam yang ada di sekitar lo apa adanya, dengan segala kekurangan dan kelebihaannya. Dalam susah maupun senang… he-eh nggak deng!
Sekali lagi, mungkin hiperbolis, tapi memang iya kan?
Kalo boleh dibilang, itu salah satu alasan kenapa pramuka tuh penting banget. Jangan cuma nyanyiin lagu Survivor-nya Destiny’s Child, lo harus bener-bener survivor di dunia nyata! Nggak sekedar survivor, kita juga harus membiasakan diri untuk kerja tim. Nggak ada deh istilahnya all by myself, kita harus punya empati kepada sesama dan selalu nyari cara biar dapat solusi terbaik yang bisa nggak ngorbanin salah satu pihak.
Jadi kita nggak bisa nyari aman sendiri, gimana pun juga orang nggak bisa hidup sendiri. Iya kan?
Biarpun lo nggak naik gunung trus nyasar di dalam hutan, setiap ilmu yang lo dapet dari pramuka bakalan berguna buat elo, nggak bakal sia-sia deh. Apalagi di dalam pramuka selain belajar menjadi survivor, kita juga mendekatkan diri kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Kuasa melalui renungan jiwa.
Asal lo bisa memanfaatkan ilmu lo secara optimal dan dalam hal kebaikan, Insya Allah apa yang lo pelajari bisa berguna buat lo nantinya.

Cinta Negeri Sendiri

Salah satu tujuannya pramuka adalah untuk memahami negeri kita sendiri agar kita menjadi warga negara yang baik. Hampir seumur hidup kita habiskan di bumi pertiwi kita tercinta ini, (Cieee… ) kok kayaknya aneh banget kalo kita sampai nggak ngerti tentang negeri kita sendiri. Di pramuka sendiri juga ada pengetahuan tentang kebangsaan yang mungkin lo nggak dapetin dipelajaran sejarah yang ada di sekolah.
BTW, kecintaan terhadap tanah air juga termasuk bela negara lho!
Di tengah globalisasi yang makin kenceng sekarang ini, kita tetap harus mempunyai kebanggaan atas identitas negeri kita sendiri. Seperti dalam halnya pramuka, yang mungkin kebanyakan orang menganggap udah basi banget. Seakan-akan ikutan pramuka tuh buang-buang waktu aja.
Padahal, biar dari awal berdirinya terkesan ‘klasik’ bukan berarti aktivitas kepramukaan tuh kaku ataupun konservatif. Buktinya, setiap jambore pasti ada games dan outbond, apalagi kegiatan pramuka siaga yang didominasi dengan permainan.
Walaupun santai, tapi seorang pandu juga mempunyai pengabdian terhadap masyarakat. Kegiatannya bisa dari membantu korban bencana alam, ngebantuin adik-adik siaga dan penggalang, dan yang baru aja akhir-akhir ini, menanam pohon. Dan nggak cuma itu aja, anggota pramuka juga bisa berkecimpung di bidang IPTEK yang nantinya bisa jadi dasar skill kita.
Nggak ada salahnya kok kalo kita ikutan pramuka, malah justru bisa menambah pengalaman dan kemampuan kita yang nggak bisa kita dapat di sekolah. Lagian yang diajarin di pramuka bersifat positif untuk kehidupan kita nantinya. Kita bisa kok, merevitalisasi kegiatan pramuka yang menurut kebanyakan orang ‘kuno’ jadi lebih fun.
Percaya deh, pasti asyik!

Saking sibuknya gue jadi artis sampai lupa punya blog yang cantik ini. Alaaaaaaah.....
Believe it or not, gue sempet lupa username sama password gue tau!! Butuh waktu berbulan-bulan buat nyari tahu apa passwordnya!!

akhirnya gue bisa bolos les, bwahaha...
gue blum bkin pr perancis gw, conditionnel passe sama subjonctif passe...
tp walaupun gw ngilang malah gue nyari ksibukan lain lagi,
creative writingnya itu diselenggarain sm YKAI n UNICEF -hoho qrent!-, jd yg jelas ceritanya ya juga ttg anak2 dan hak2nya. cocok bgt bwat karya tulis sosio gw, mana gw blum nulis apa2an lagi!
